Hi13-LTE800 Mobile Signal Booster

The HiBoost Hi13-LTE800 (LTE) is a mobile data signal amplifier that can only improve 4G signal for all providers in your premises. But only at 800MHz and not on the 2600Mhz used in the Netherlands. The reception and sending signal is reinforced within your building with a ratio of 250 to 500 square meters. This is subject to conditions that the signal (-70dbm) is good outside your home, office or business premises.

Please note:Make sure that your 4G signal indicated on your mobile apperate will be delivered at 800hz. There are several locations in the Netherlands which are often sparsely populated where the 4G signal is supplied not at 800MHz but at 2600MHz by telecom providers.

Why does a multi-band repeater be required in some situations?

If there is a bad signal in your building, some may switch your mobile shipping device back to 2G. As a result, the 4G amplifier/booster will no longer work because it only amplifies the signal on 4G. So make sure that your device only communicates 4G signal and you avoid disappointment.

LCD screen

The LCD screen on the amplifier will show you the following settings

• The Gsm amplifiers frequency(s)
• Signal improvement
• The output power.

The LCD screen also gives alarms in case the output power is too strong or the installation has been performed in the wrong way.

AGC and MGC

• AGC of Automatic Gain Control = Automatic reinforcement control.
• MGC or Manual Gain Control = This allows you to manually set the amplification if necessary.

What is LTE

LTE means: Long Term Evolution

This is a technique that makes it possible to send and receive information more and faster than was possible until now GSM, GPRS, EDGE or UMTS. With LTE, the information is not transmitted over the network at once, but in pieces and always via IP (internet Protocol)This makes it possible to easily exchange information (data) via a variety of suitable mobile devices.

The moment you either set up a voice call or a data connection, you will be assigned a dedicated ‘line’ (Evolved Packet System (EPS) bearer. Voice goes through the IMS (IP Multimedia System), over IP and is called VoLTE. With regard to data, there are two ways it can follow. Either the data goes to IMS after which it will use applications such as instant messaging, HD Video and Audio, Multiplayer gaming, Location Based Services and IPTV or the user goes directly to the Internet.
