What should I do?

The device amplifies the signal and spreads it over the area with an indoor antenna. The amplifier works in a duplex, which means that it not only gets signal from the towers but when it receives it it also sends it back.

The Directive for radio and telecom equipment: R&TTE Directive

R&TTE stands for Radio and Telecommunications Terminal Equipment, in short: radio and telecom equipment. It is a European directive to regulate electromagnetic compatibility for this type of equipment. The R&TTE Directive applies to almost all devices that use the radio spectrum. And for wire-bound and mobile phone, cable TV and Internet connections. For example, mobile phones, car door openers, analogue telephones and cable and PC modems.

Why an R&TTE directive?

Devices complying with the R&TTE Directive may be placed on the market in Europe. They do not interfere or cause other interference or interference to equipment and prevent harmful exposure to electromagnetic fields.

Test

Manufacturers and importers are responsible for ensuring that their products comply with the R&TTE directive when they are placed on the market. Therefore, the equipment needs to be tested.
